ArchStudio is a development environment to build software architectures. There are many tools available in the market for designing architectures but most of them require coding skills. As an open source and free software, ArchStudio is easily available for students to learn designing and development of software architectures.There are many other software’s in the market like Microsoft, visual studio and Borland Jbuilder, but the drawback with these are they are code driven, whereas Arch Studio does both software development and system architecture .This manual about ArchStudio will help students in learning the usage of this tool and guide to install all different components needed to configure ArchStudio. This manual will guide students in installing ArchStudio and its pre-requisite software’s. It will also explain how to get started with ArchStudio to create software architectures.To use ArchStudio the audience need to have a clear understanding of how the software development works and also have knowledge on using Eclipse environment. If not it might be hard to navigate within the eclipse environment and to use ArchStudio.
